Epstein Files Reveal Detailed “Connections Web” Mapping Elite Financial and Social Networks

Epstein’s value lay in access and proximity: placing hedge fund managers, tech billionaires, and former heads of state in the same trusted room.

A Canadian TikToker named Sammy K recently highlighted a striking two-page document uncovered in the Epstein files, specifically from Dataset 9, one of the largest releases, totaling 179 gigabytes with minimal metadata.

Labeled as a “Connections Web,” the charts (dated January 1, 2015, and a more current version) provide a visual map of Jeffrey Epstein’s extensive social and financial ties, color-coded by relationship strength and type.

The documents use standard FBI link analysis methodology, similar to tools like i2 Analyst Notebook, categorizing connections as strong, weak, or speculated. A legend clarifies terms such as “Close Friends,” “Acquaintances,” and “Connectors,” with additional markers for 2015 targets and 2016 & Beyond.

Importantly, inclusion on this map does not imply involvement in sexual misconduct. Rather than a simple “pedo ring” diagram, it functions as a “follow the money” overview of Epstein’s web among America’s capital class – fund managers, wealth allocators, philanthropists, and institutional investors who move enormous sums through endowments, sovereign wealth funds, and pension assets.

Blackmail, in this context, operates as a financial instrument creating obligations that can influence institutional decisions.

The maps illustrate how Epstein facilitated introductions between capital holders and those needing funds directed toward specific ends.

Philanthropy emerges as a key connector, allowing old money to intersect with state power outside democratic oversight. By framing Epstein narrowly around sexual abuse, media coverage keeps the story contained; this network view reveals something more structural about power in America.

The Inner Circle: “Close Friends”

The central black dots represent Epstein’s closest associates:

David Andrew Wallach: Venture capitalist and early investor in Spotify, SpaceX, and Neuralink; co-founder of Time Bio Ventures.

Dan Loeb: Founder of Third Point LLC, a hedge fund managing over $4 billion, known for activist shareholder campaigns.

Jason Karp: Founder of Tourbillon Capital Partners and CEO of health-focused investment firm HumanCo.

Rick Gerson: Co-founder of HPS Investment Partners ($100 billion credit firm) and board member at African Mission Healthcare.

Stephanie Coleman: Wife of Chase Coleman III of Tiger Global Management, a major investor in tech giants like Facebook, Uber, Stripe, and AI firms such as Databricks.

Amy Griffin and John Griffin: Venture and hedge fund figures, with John linked to Blue Ridge Capital.

• Others include Divesh Makan (ICONIQ Capital, managing money for tech leaders like Zuckerberg), Strauss Zelnick (Take-Two Interactive / Rockstar Games), and more.

Broader Network Layers

Green connections extend to high-profile figures such as:

Eric Schmidt (former Google CEO)
Marc Benioff (Salesforce founder)
George Soros (Soros Fund Management and Open Society Foundations)
Sean Parker (Napster, Facebook)
Dan Och, Israel Englander, and additional hedge fund titans.

The charts also link to philanthropies (Simons Foundation, Helmsley Trust, Woody Johnson Foundation), tech executives, and other capital influencers.

Epstein’s value lay in access and proximity: placing hedge fund managers, tech billionaires, and former heads of state in the same trusted room.

The maps inventory that influence network, showing the depth of his reach into the American imperial and financial class.

Rather than solely evidence of crimes, they demonstrate what the FBI documented – and apparently chose not to aggressively pursue – about who truly holds sway above politics.
